Happy Holidays!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas!

We woke up around 7 am and had our little family Christmas at home. Tristan got a 3 in 1 (Rock, Roll & Ride) trike from Santa and a Vtech camera, books, and some little toys from mom & dad.

Around 9 am we packed the car and headed over to my parents & had our Christmas with them & my 2 brothers. Tristan got a walk n' ride, a newer toddler table, a cute cloth bowling set, some other things from Grandma & Grandpa.

Then we headed to the Tom's parents for Christmas dinner & presents with them. They gave Tristan some puzzles, clothing, magnetic doodler, and more pieces for his potato head set.

It is nice to have some new toys for him to play with. He didn't quite get the gift thing, but he did help us rip some of the wrapping paper. During our Christmas at home, he had more fun with the new cat toys then his. LOL.

We didn't have a white Christmas, but we had a very white day after Christmas! We got about 8 inches of snow from that winter storm that came through the east. And it was awesome snow! It is the fluffy, packable, pretty snow. Our dog Ava LOVED it. She ran around like a maniac, biting at it. Tristan wasn't so convinced the first day, but today he actually walked around in the driveway (it had been driven on so it was less deep) and had a good time doing that. He even tried to grab it. I am glad he finally decided to leave his mittens on since he didn't like them before when I put them on. I got some really nice pictures of him, so I'm happy :)

Tom & I got some nice things from everyone. It is not as exciting for us as it is giving the kids presents. I look forward to future Christmases when Tristan can talk & get really excited about it. I remember how I could barely contain myself! It felt like forever until Christmas.

That's about it for now. Post again soon!
