On Sunday, Tristan was baptized into the Catholic community. It was a normal hot NC day & inside the church was even hotter (to me & Tom)! Tristan was a good boy in the beginning, but since his earlier nap didn't go so well, he became tired & cranky & was crying so loud. I tried my best to calm him down, but I'm sure that was part of why I was sweating.

My parents, Tom's parents & Mark, Rachael & Eva were all there. Mark & Rachael are Tristan's Godparents. Afterwards, Rachael & Mark graciously allowed us to use their house for dinner. It was really nice to hang out & enjoy Father's Day with everyone.

Tom's parents got Tristan an outdoor swing (he loves Eva's). We are going to hang it off our back deck since we don't have any trees with good branches in our yard.

Rachael & Mark got Tristan a super cute personalized backpack from Pottery Barn. I love it & it's a perfect size for him to wear while traveling or to preschool. I'm sure he will have fun putting stuff in it & taking it out.

My parents & my aunt & grandmother in FL gave Tristan some money for his account. I'm glad that we are able to put money away for him.

Everyday Tristan is getting more confident & so close to crawling. I know it's coming soon!

His tooth is taking its sweet time coming in too. Makes for a very drooly, cranky baby :(
