The past few days have been so busy! Tom's brother Dan, his wife & 2 kids came up from Florida and stayed with us. We had a nice time & I took some really cute pictures of all the cousins together :).
Tristan got a lot of toys for when he's 6 months & older. I can't wait until he's that age & can interact & play. Eva is almost 9 months & it's so fun to watch her play & you can just see her learning & trying to understand everything. So precious!
Saturday night my parents had their 3rd annual Day after Christmas party. We got to see some old friends from Summerfield & they got to meet Tristan. My godparents came by & saw & held Tristan which was so sweet. I'm really excited because their daughter & my first friend ever Kristina just got engaged!!
Tom, his parents, Rachael & Eva are going to CT to visit their other brother for a few days this week. Tristan & I are staying here & will be celebrating the new year by ourselves :(. Actually, we'll probably go to my parents so we aren't alone.
It always amazes me how quickly some people pack up their Christmas decorations! We already saw some trees by the curb. Ours won't be coming down until after the New Year. We like to enjoy them for a few more days :)
We also had an eventful few days with the furbabies! Ava got out at Tom's parents, our house & Rachael & Mark's. Thankfully we were able to get her back each time, but whew! Tom also thought Emma got out the night his brother arrived. They saw a cat outside & we hadn't seen her for a few hours so he thought she was the one outside. They spent a few hours calling for her, but Pam found her under the couch! We need to get her a collar in case she does ever get out, so that's on my to-do list!
Well, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Have a happy New Year! I can't believe this decade is almost over.
