Paige is 6 weeks old! We had her 1 month appointment a little late. She was 9 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 inches long. Doctor said she looked great. She was in the 50th percentile for weight and 25th for height. Looks like she's got her momma's frame! She's sleeping ok. Having trouble during the day probably because Tristan is a loud, wild man.
We went to the town's Easter egg hunt with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law & niece. Tristan had more fun kicking & stomping on the eggs than he did picking them up. Didn't quite understand what to do. It wasn't the nicest of days either. Drizzling & 50, but they still held it! The Easter bunny came in a fire truck but Tristan was not keen on getting to close to either.
We had Easter dinner at my mother-in-laws and celebrated my niece's 3rd birthday. The kids had fun running around being wild.The Easter bunny came there for both so it was nice Tristan had something to open too.
We are excited for the spring weather. Just ordered a double jogging stroller so I'll be able to push the kids myself & finally get some exercise in! My friend's wedding is next month & I'd like to be close to my pre-pregnancy weight!
Tristan is such a big boy now! He said "I love you mommy" to me the other day :) So sweet! I'm sad to realize he's becoming a boy and no longer a baby, but excited to watch him grow into a wonderful person. He's so sweet - didn't grab his bulldozer away from our neighbor's kid. Just sat there saying "Bulldozer back." I realize that could change, but I'll enjoy his sweetness while I can. We'll see what 2 day preschool will do this fall!
